Danish singer songwriter and music producer Ida Core is a talented performer who has fans around the world. She mixes up soul, house, pop, r&b and dance pop styles into her own new forms and first emerged as the winner of a Danish Children Songcontest. As she got older she went on tour as backing singer for the likes of Gnags and Sanne Salomonsen, Thomas Helming and Rasmus Nohr. Ida has won many awards in her time such as the DK Award and Danish Deejay-Favorite at the Danish Deejay Awards, as well as for her singles at the Zulu Awards and for being the best selling Danish artist at the IMPALA Diamond Award. Ida has performed on shows like Jules Holland as a member of the band SugaRush Beat Company and has also been part of the short-lived girlgroup Sha Li Mar, consisting of Christina Undhjem, Engelina and Ida herself. The band has performed many times on mainstream TV and have released albums like the self titled Sha Li Mar. She has also collaborated with house producer Morten Trust on tracks like “I Put My Faith In You” and the track went on to become quite the hit. She has also worked with Dutch DJ Fedde Le Grand and played a part in the Live Earth concerts. These helped her grow in popularity around the world and the single ‘Let Me Think About It’ continued its success and reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay.
