Ambyr Childers is an American actress best known for playing Susan Atkins in the NBC drama Aquarius alongside David Duchovny, the part of Ashley Rucker in the Showtime crime drama Ray Donovan and for the role of Candace Stone in the Netflix psychological thriller You. Childers has also created a successful jewellery line in collaboration with fellow actress Kate Bosworth.

Hailing from Cottonwood, Arizona, Childers moved to California at a young age, landing an early role in the TV show S Club 7 in L.A. Her first major break came when she won the part of Colby Chandler in 2006 in popular daytime soap opera All My Children, becoming a firm favourite on the show for two years and appearing in an impressive 136 episodes. The role established her name on the acting circuit, leading to a recurring part on hit primetime television crime drama Ray Donovan and a gritty role in Aquarius, in which she portrayed one of America’s most infamous female convicts and member of Charles Manson’s Family, Susan Atkins. In 2018, Childers starred as Candace Stone in the Lifetime thriller You, progressing to become a main character in the show’s second season after it was picked up by streaming giant Netflix.

Aside from her acting work, Ambyr Childers is a budding entrepreneur and jewellery designer, successfully teaming up with Kate Bosworth to create the eponymous collection Ambyr Childers Jewellery, in a collaboration that fused Bosworth’s laidback boho-chic vibes with the influence of Childers’s Native American heritage. A committed philanthropist with an evident social conscience, Childers often lends her support to various charities, appearing at fundraisers and events including the Petit Maison Chic and Operation Smile Kids Charity Fashion Show.
