One of the most successful hoteliers, Alex Polizzi, also known to be a successful businesswoman and television personality, appeared on television for the first time in 2008 in a series called The Hotel Inspector.

Polizzi has since had a series in which she turns around family businesses, this series was called Alex Polizzi: The Fixer and The Fixer Returns in 2013. By 2014, she set in motion a new series, Alex Polizzi’s Secret Italy. In this television program, she visited places in Italy that aren’t too popular or places that seemed to be the talk of the town.

Towards the end of April 2015, Polizzi began hosting a new series, Alex Polizzi: Chefs on Trial, where she would pay a visit to various restaurants. Since the beginning of February 2018, Alex Polizzi and her brother-in-law Oliver Peyton, began a new series, Peyton and Polizzi’s Restaurant Rescue. In this series, they both attempt to rescue failing restaurants.

Aside from television, Polizzi has also opened a wholesale bakery called Millers Bespoke Bakery, with which she supplied bread to big companies like Selfridges and Harvey Nichols. She also manages a hotel owned by her mother, called Hotel Endsleigh. Alex Polizzi is also a successful author, publishing the entertaining hotel guide Alex Polizzi’s Little Black Book for Hotels. In the book, she gives an insight on how to take proper advantage of staying at the best hotels.
