The British Actor Ian Kelsey is well-known for his roles in many popular TV series including the ITV soap Emmerdale, as well as the BBC drama’s Casualty and Doctors.

Following his first starring role in the award-winning Emmerdale as Dave Glover between 1994 and 1997, Kelsey went on to appear in a host of other popular TV shows including Men Behaving Badly, Touching Evil, Murder in Mind, The Bill and Hotel Babylon. Of his major acting roles, Kelsey spent three years on medical drama Casualty as Dr Patrick Spiller, appeared in three series of the BBC drama Down To Earth, The ITV Drama Where The Heart Is and six years in the ITV crime drama Blue Murder. More recently Kelsey joined the Coronation Street cast in 2016. Alongside his TV acting career, Kelsey has also appeared on stage having performed in the London West End production of Chicago and The Shawshank Redemption that has gone on to tour the country. In 2016 Kelsey starred in the role as Prof Callahan in Legally Blonde at The Curve Theatre Leicester.

Throughout his career as an actor and with over 27 years’ experience in the industry, Kelsey has also been a passionate photographer. Specialising in portraits and headshots, Kelsey now runs his own business, Ian Kelsey Photography, capturing images of both rising stars and seasoned professionals in the acting industry.
