Adam Goldberg is known for playing supporting roles in blockbuster films such as Tony in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Sol in the Oscar-winning film, A Beautiful Mind, and Stanley Mellish in Saving Private Ryan.
Goldberg made his film debut in 1992 as Eugene in Mr. Saturday Night. From that point on, he was cast regularly, being in the business for over 25 years: some of his beloved roles include Chandler’s crazy roommate Eddie in Friends (as well as Jimmy in the spinoff series, Joey), Simon in God Friended Me, and larger roles in shows like The Jim Gaffigan Show, Fargo, Double Rush, Relativity, The $treet, The Unusuals, NYC 22, Head Cases, and Taken.
Often times, Goldberg holds multiple positions in the movie business: in the films I Love Your Work and Scotch and Milk, he worked as a director, editor, producer and writer. He even exercised his music skills in I Love Your Work, composing the film score. His music can also be seen in Running with the Bulls, as well as on the soundtrack of Hebrew Hammer—which he starred in as Jewish hero, Mordechai. Goldberg has played other Jewish characters in Dazed and Confused and Entourage.
His music career doesn’t stop at movies—Goldberg has worked independently, with the groups LANDy and The Goldberg Sisters, and even with the Flaming Lips, who he helped with their documentary, The Fearless Freaks.
