Marta Pozzan is an Italian actor, model, content creator, and influencer currently residing in Los Angeles. She has a massive social media outreach — including over 418,000 Instagram followers — and has even co-hosted a TED Talk on how social media shapes a person’s identity. Having appeared in ad campaigns for major brands such as American Express, Dior, Nike, Samsung (among many others), and cultivated an image as a jet-setting icon of high fashion and luxury brands, Pozzan has begun to move into film acting, appearing in the diverse likes of Dark Foe (a drama) and Whisper (a horror), among several others.
Pozzan was born in Vicenza, a picturesque city in north-east Italy. She grew up and studied there before moving to London where she attended St Martin’s College, an iconic art school, initially with the aim of becoming a fashion journalist. Everything changed when she was awarded a scholarship to the Lee Strasberg Film and Theatre Institute in L.A. and so relocated across the Atlantic. She graduated from there in 2012 and quickly became one of the hottest names in the modelling industry. She has been featured in the likes of Forbes and issues of Vanity Fair, Vogue, and Marie Claire everywhere from Italy to Japan.
Digital modelling is one of Pozzan’s many areas of expertise. In 2018, she became one of the first digital models to link up with aspirational French brand Kenzo on one of their new perfumes. She also created a video for Diesel entitled Destiny & Desire. In an age where everything from a person’s shopping to their image is increasingly online, trailblazers such as Marta Pozzan are showing how to win the internet with class.
