Also known in the entertainment industry as Adam Neely, Adam Farahan is well-known for his work on both sides of the camera. His reputation as a film editor has seen him work on the likes of Glee, American Horror Story, and comedy horror flick The Babysitter. He’s acted in independent films too, but the viewing public will know him best as Reza Farahan’s husband on Bravo reality show Shahs of Sunset.
Shahs of Sunset documents the lives of high-flying Iranian-Americans living in Beverly Hills. Reza Farahan is one of the show’s focal points: an openly gay real estate agent who joined the show because he wanted to be a positive role model for gay men and Middle Easterners living in America. A former model who studied production at California State University, Adam Farahan has been with him for a decade and the pair’s relationship, engagement, and marriage have been one of the show’s major talking points. Adam Farahan has appeared in many episodes of the show, which is now eight seasons old and shows no signs of stagnating.
When not co-starring with his husband, Farahan has frequently worked with hugely successful director Ryan Murphy, the man behind the likes of Nip/Tuck, Glee, and Scream Queens. Farahan has been involved in the post-production of many of his programmes, although with his ever-increasing profile, he has branched out to work with other directors, including Norwegian horror director Lars Klevberg on his 2019 movie Polaroid. That year, he also acted as head editor on several episodes of Fox musical drama Star.
