Michael Garafola is a reality television star and federal prosecutor. He is best known for appearing on the hit reality television show, The Bachelorette – the spin-off show of The Bachelor – where people compete for the attention and love from the bachelorette. Although Michael didn’t manage to win over the heart of the lady in question, viewers of the show were charmed by his sweet nature and intelligence.
After he first appeared in The Bachelorette fans were eager to see what Michael was going to do next. His charm left fans wanting more, so he then later appeared on in the summer spin-off of the show, Bachelor in Paradise. Joining the show was certainly a risk for Garafola as he has a strong legal career, but he is certainly not one to fit into any mould. His biggest fear is living in regret, which explains why he dove headfirst into the unknown of reality television.
Michael Garofola has an enviable résumé. He is the former assistant U.S. Attorney, former Davis Polk associate and he is currently working as general counsel for Trans-Pacific Polymers and Gulf Energy and Chemical Company. He is a graduate of Fordham Law and clerked for Chief Judge Federico Moreno of the Southern District of Florida. His two chosen career paths are not ones that usually fit together, but Michael makes it work and his career in the television industry is just getting started.
