Cara Maria is a reality television star who rose to fame competing on the 19th season of the hit MTV reality game show The Challenge, entitled The Challenge: Fresh Meat II. In this season (which was filmed in British Columbia, Canada) each team of two was a combination of an alumnus of a previous season and a newcomer of the opposite gender. Unfortunately, Maria was eliminated after the first challenge, but her brief appearance on the show skyrocketed her profile. She went on to make regular appearances in subsequent seasons of The Challenge, including the 21st (The Challenge: Rivals), 22nd (The Challenge: Battle of the Exes) and the 27th (The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines).

Maria’s huge success on MTV came in 2018 when she won the thirty-first season entitled The Challenge: Vendettas. She was the overall winner of 28 contestants in the season which was the first ever season of the show to be broadcast in the United Kingdom. For winning the show, Maria was the recipient of over $370,000.
