Antoine Vaillant is a professional bodybuilder, coach and influencer best known for competing to become Mr Olympia in 2020.
Inspired by bodybuilding magazines and Mr. Olympia images in his youth, Vaillant scoured the internet for information on bodybuilding and absorbed as much information as possible. In 2004, he made the decision to begin competing despite never having trained; within the year, Vaillant had competed in his first competition, winning his class at just sixteen years of age.
In 2012, Vaillant won his International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness professional card at the Canadian Nationals. Following a stint in rehab, Vaillant bounced back stronger than ever in 2017, forming a partnership with Dorian Hamilton and becoming a part of Hamilton’s Team HD. He notably placed fourth in what was ultimately his comeback performance at the 2018 Toronto professional show.
2020 marked a big year for Vaillant, who not only won the 2020 California Pro but competed in his first Mr. Olympia competition. Marked as one to watch, Vaillant placed fourteenth in the world-renowned bodybuilding contest. In addition to competing around the world, Vaillant works as a lifestyle and contest coach with Team HD, allowing the next generation to learn 1-on-1 with one of the best.
With over three-quarters-of-a-million followers across his popular social media accounts, Vaillant uses his large platform to advocate for rehabilitation, to motivate and to entertain. One of the best-known bodybuilders of his time, Vaillant keeps his followers in the know with frequent YouTube vlogs and updates to his Instagram.
