The angelic and incredibly talented Sabrina Carpenter is a fabulous award-winning singer and actress. On screen she is best known for her portrayal of Maya Hart in the Disney series Girl Meets World, as well as for the movies Horns, and Adventures in Babysitting. Her music career has seen her release four studio albums to date: 2015’s Eyes Wide Open, 2016’s Evolution, 2018’s Singular: Act I, and 2019’s Singular: Act II. Her latest single, Skinny Dipping, was released in 2021.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Carpenter was always interested in performing and singing and began posting videos to YouTube when she was 10-years-old. She made her acting debut in 2011 when she was 12 in the NBC drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Since then she has gone on to star in countless TV shows, including The Goodwin Games, Orange Is the New Black, and Girl Meets World. Her movie debut came in 2012 with a part in the comedy Noobz. Her other features include Horns, Tall Girl, and Clouds. She has also appeared on stage and her broadway debut came in 2020 when she played Cady Heron in Mean Girls.
Carpenter also forge a successful music career alongside her acting, and released her debut single, Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying, in 2014 with Hollywood Records. Her debut album, Eyes Wide Open, came out in 2015, and then following the release of her second album, Evolution in 2016, she toured North America and then Europe. After two more albums, Singular: Act I, and Act II, in 2018 and 2019, she signed with Island Records. Her debut single with them, Skins, was released in January 2021 and became her first Billboard Hot 100 entry debuting at No.48.
