100 Gecs is an innovative American musical duo formed in 2015, consisting of Dylan Brady and Laura Les. Their journey began in St. Louis, Missouri, where they first collaborated after reconnecting at a party. They quickly made a mark in the music scene with their self-titled debut EP, “100 Gecs,” released in 2016, showcasing their unique blend of genres and experimental sound that would define their career.

In 2019, 100 Gecs released their groundbreaking debut album, “1000 gecs,” which received widespread acclaim for its eclectic mix of hyperpop, electronic rock, and pop-punk influences. The album was hailed as a defining work in the hyperpop genre, with critics praising its catchy yet chaotic style. This success led to their participation in major tours, including supporting Brockhampton on their “Heaven Belongs to You Tour,” further solidifying their presence in the music industry.

Following the success of their debut, the duo released a companion remix album, “1000 gecs and the Tree of Clues,” in 2020, which featured collaborations with various artists and expanded their sonic palette. Their innovative approach to music production and genre-blending has garnered them a dedicated fanbase and critical recognition, including being named an “Artist You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone.

In 2023, 100 Gecs continued their evolution with the release of their second studio album, “10,000 gecs,” further pushing the boundaries of their sound. With their fearless experimentation and commitment to artistic growth, 100 Gecs remains at the forefront of the modern music landscape, inspiring a new generation of artists and fans alike.
