The American hip-hop duo, known as EarthGang, are also co-founders of the musical collective Spillage Village with JID, 6LACK, Mereba, Hollywood JB, JordxBryant and Benji. The duo came together to form a band in 2008. They worked on their first EP, and released it in 2010, titled The Better Party. Earthgang also went on a tour around the United States, to perform on festivals such as the A3C Festival in Atalanta. EarthGang released a single Miss the Show on that same year too.
In the following year, the duo also released a music video for Kick’n, a track from The Better Party. They also released the single titled Opium, and two albums Mad Men, and Good News in December. In 2013, the duo released Shallow Graves for Toys, which involved singles that were heard before. This album had the duo receive critical praise by Noisey who called EarthGang an engaging, clever rap duo, and their album as playful delivery and biting lyricism. From 2015 to 2017, the duo has released an EP titled Torba, an album titled Strays with Rabies, and collaborated with artists like JID, DJ Khalil, Mac Miller, and they also joined Dreamville Record’s Bas for the nationwide tour, Too High to Riot.
In the following year, the duo signed a deal with Dreamville Records, through which they released a debut project, of their trilogy titled Rags. This project featured artists like DC Young Fly, Childish Major, and JID. EarthGang also worked on a song that was released in 2018 too, with Ari Lennox and Mereba, titled Royalty. The duo released their third album, Revenge of the Dreamers III, in 2019, and their fourth album in 2020, titled Spillage Village.
