Niko Moon, an American country pop singer and songwriter, has left an indelible mark on Nashville’s music scene through his dynamic career. Originally hailing from Tyler, Texas, and later settling in Douglasville, Georgia, Niko was steeped in music from a young age, influenced by artists like John Prine and Patty Griffin introduced by his parents. His musical journey began as a drummer, inspired by his father’s musical pursuits.

Niko’s career gained momentum as a prolific songwriter, notably contributing to hits for Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band, Rascal Flatts, and Morgan Wallen. His association with Zac Brown extended beyond songwriting, co-founding the eclectic group Sir Rosevelt. Their work, including tracks like “The Bravest,” reached global audiences, featured prominently during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

In 2010, under the name Nic Cowan, he released his debut EP “Cheap Wine,” followed by the album “Hard Headed” in 2011. This early work showcased Niko’s blend of country sensibilities with a contemporary edge, evident in tracks like “Reno” and collaborations such as “Cut it Loose” featuring Zac Brown.
