Vandoliers, an American alternative country band from Texas, was formed in 2015 by Joshua Fleming after the dissolution of his previous punk band, The Phuss. The band quickly established its unique sound, blending elements of country and punk, which culminated in their debut album, “Ameri-Kinda.” Released in 2016, this album showcased their energetic style and garnered attention, leading to a re-release by State Fair Records the following year.

In 2017, Vandoliers recorded their sophomore album, “The Native,” in the same studio where Willie Nelson recorded his iconic “Red Headed Stranger.” This album marked a significant moment in their career, as it contributed to a resurgence of the cowpunk genre and led to successful tours with renowned acts like Reverend Horton Heat and Old 97’s. Their growing reputation solidified their place in the Texas music scene.

The band’s third album, “Forever,” was released in 2019 under Bloodshot Records, further expanding their reach. The album was supported by extensive touring, including co-headlining shows with Cory Branan and opening for Lucero. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic in 2020, Vandoliers regrouped and self-released their fourth LP, “The Vandoliers,” under their newly formed label, Amerikinda Records, showcasing their resilience and adaptability.
