Voxtrot is an acclaimed American indie pop band that emerged from Austin, Texas, in 2003, showcasing their unique sound and artistic vision. The band quickly gained recognition with the release of their debut EP, “Raised by Wolves,” in 2005, which received critical acclaim from major publications like Pitchfork and Spin. This early success set the stage for their national tours, where they captivated audiences with their energetic performances and catchy melodies, solidifying their place in the indie music scene.

In 2007, Voxtrot released their self-titled debut album, which peaked at number 42 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart. The album featured the standout single “Blood Red Blood,” which further showcased their ability to blend thoughtful lyrics with infectious pop hooks. Their music was characterized by a mature sound that resonated with a wide audience, earning them a dedicated fan base and praise from music critics.

After a series of successful EPs and singles, Voxtrot announced their disbandment in 2010, following a farewell tour that highlighted their journey and achievements. Despite their dissolution, the band’s influence continued to grow, leading to a reunion announcement in 2022, where they delighted fans with archival recordings and a new tour.

In 2023, Voxtrot marked their reformation by releasing new material, including the single “Another Fire,” demonstrating their enduring creativity and commitment to evolving their sound. With a rich discography and a legacy of impactful music, Voxtrot remains a significant force in the indie pop genre.
