Ashlin Herbert is a carpenter from Australia who flew to dazzling heights as part of the Australian version of Ninja Warrior. Herbert, or Flashlin as his fans know him by, has taken part in the competition four times – and competed in three Grand Finals, having a reputation as being one of the fastest ever Ninjas in Australia, however he has not yet been able to take the top prize. Herbert is known for having a distressing relationship with the Salmon Ladder part of the course, as his fans were very distressed to find out he had been disqualified after slipping on the ladder. Herbert is known for being friends with fellow Ninjas Troy Cullen and Zak Stolz.
Herbert has also competed in Sasuke 37, which is a similar competition to Ninja Warrior, with incredible obstacles inspired by Japanese warrior attributes. Herbert is known for his calm and confident demeanor on the show, as he uses times between appearances to train and compete in shows such as Ninja Warrior USA vs The World. Herbert has recently been competing in the team version of Ninja Warrior – Ninja Warrior State of Origin – with his fellow teammates: Charlie Robbins, Zak Stolz and Melissa Armstrong. When not competing, Herbert can be found with his dog, Chief, out in nature, or raising money for important causes.
