Daniel Dubois, born on September 6, 1997, in Greenwich, London, is a prominent British heavyweight boxer known for his knockout power and rapid rise in the sport. Dubois began boxing at the age of nine, inspired by his father. His amateur career was impressive, with over 75 bouts and numerous national titles, establishing him as a promising talent.

Dubois turned professional in April 2017 at just 19 years old, quickly making a name for himself with his devastating punching power. His pro debut saw him knock out Marcus Kelly in just 35 seconds, setting the tone for his early career. Dubois continued to dominate, winning the WBC Youth heavyweight title in June 2018 after defeating Tom Little.

In July 2019, Dubois captured the British heavyweight title by knocking out Nathan Gorman in the fifth round, showcasing his potential as a future world champion. His rise continued as he claimed the Commonwealth and WBO International heavyweight titles, further solidifying his reputation as one of the most exciting prospects in the division.

Dubois faced a significant test in November 2020 against Joe Joyce for the European, British, and Commonwealth titles. Despite a strong start, Dubois suffered a serious eye injury and was stopped in the tenth round, marking his first professional loss. He rebounded in June 2021, winning the WBA interim heavyweight title with a second-round knockout of Bogdan Dinu.

Dubois is now preparing for the biggest fight of his career—a highly anticipated showdown against former world champion Anthony Joshua. This bout is seen as a crucial step in Dubois’s quest to become a world champion.
