Danielle Jessica Colaprico is an accomplished American professional soccer player, currently showcasing her skills as a midfielder for the Houston Dash in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). Her professional journey began when she was selected as the ninth overall pick in the 2015 NWSL College Draft by the Chicago Red Stars. During her time with the Red Stars, she made an immediate impact, scoring her first goal in a match against Sky Blue FC and earning the prestigious NWSL Rookie of the Year award in 2015. Colaprico’s consistent performance led to her being named to the NWSL second XI for three consecutive years from 2015 to 2017.
Colaprico’s international experience includes representing the United States at various levels, including the under-23 national team. She made her senior team debut in 2018 and has participated in significant tournaments, showcasing her talent on an international stage. Her contributions were pivotal in the under-23 team’s success at the 2015 Six Nations Tournament, where they emerged victorious.
