Comedian Danny Polishchuk has appeared on stage and on the big and small screen across the United States and Canada. In 2015, he starred in the action/comedy TV series Filth City, which follows a drug-addicted mayor fighting for re-election, who is caught on video smoking crack cocaine and will do almost anything to keep the video out of the wrong hands. In 2017, a movie adaption was produced which Polishchuk also co-wrote. He was subsequently nominated for two Canadian Comedy Awards: Best Writing in a Comedy Series and Best Short Film. In addition, he was nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards in 2017 for his work as a writer on the digital series “True Dating Stories.”
Polishcuk’s stand-up has taken him around Canada, where he’s performed at festivals, comic clubs, and even in contests. He has appeared at the North Bay Comedy Festival, The North Bay International Comedy Festival (NXNE), and the XM Radio’s Top Comic semi-finals on two occasions. His debut comedy album, Make Comedy Great Again, came out in 2017 and is available on Spotify.
Polishchuk has a YouTube channel which boasts more than 3,400 subscribers and @dannyjokes is his handle on every social media platform. He is the co-host of the Boyscast every Friday, alongside fellow comedian Ryan Long, and the host of Low Value Mail every Tuesday night live at 9:30 EST.
