Ferrari Simmons is an American radio personality with a huge appeal. He is on the air six days a week and can be heard Monday to Fridays on Streetz 94.5 Atlanta as well as Saturdays on DTLR Radio. And if you want to hear him on Sundays, he can be found hosting the Baller Alert podcast. As well as playing hits, Simmons has also made a few himself, and his singles include ’Happy Birthday’, ‘No Hook 2’, ‘All Booties Matter’, and ‘Hunnid on 7’. Unsurprisingly, he has a large social media following with 105,000 followers on Instagram alone.

Simmons was born Sean Simpson in West Palm Beach, Florida. With gang culture big in his neighbourhood, he turned to rapping and sports to keep him focused and out of trouble. It was sports that seemed to offer the best way out and he attended the University of South Florida on an athletics scholarship, but before long, his passion for entertaining people through music became overwhelming and he gave it up to focus on a career in the entertainment industry, beginning by hosting events on campus.

Eventually, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where, mentored by the likes of V-103 TV host Big Tigger and Kenny Burns, he began to get his first breaks into television and radio. Now firmly established as a major personality on the latter, with a reach of millions, he is also aiming to break into more television roles, including acting parts. Having proven himself on radio and in music (‘All Booties Matter’, for example, has over 100,000 Spotify streams), it won’t be long before we’re seeing him in a hit film or series.
