Glenna Walters rose to fame when she was cast in her breakout role, Tillie, on the Netflix original series, Anne with an E. After three seasons on the show, she has nearly 500K followers on Instagram.

Hailing from Toronto, Walters got her start in acting in 2017 after landing her role on the show, Anne with an E, which first aired on the Canadian channel, CBC before it was offered on Netflix. Being only sixteen at the time of her television debut, she was in all but ten of the series’ episodes, but quickly became a fan-favorite and grew her social media following.

Following her first year as a professional actress, Walters guest-starred on the Canadian crime series, The Detail, on CTV, playing the role of Soj Reyez. Since then, she’s been cast in feature roles every year. In 2019, she appeared as Casey in the film anthology, Blink Twice. As for 2020, Walters plays Maya in the Netflix original series, Grand Army, based off the play Slut penned by Katie Cappiello. This drama series will be executive produced by the likes of Joshua Donen (Gone Girl) and Beau Willimon (House of Cards). It’s also Walters’ first role outside of Canada.

Besides acting, Walters recently joined the celebrity video app, Cameo, to create personalized videos for fans. For Walters, she made the account so all of her proceeds could go directly to her local hospital’s coronavirus relief center to help her community in times of crisis.
