Award winning actress, model, and VJ Hannah Simone is best known for her portrayal of Cecilia “Cece” Parikh on the Fox sitcom New Girl, appearing in a range of roles across both film and television.

Simone began her career as the host of HGTV Canada’s Space for Living. After one season, she moved on to be a video jockey for MuchMusic while hosting Much News Weekly and The NewMusic. Following this she hosted WCG Ultimate Gamer on SyFy for two seasons. Simone also appeared as a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance in 2013, before returning to hosting in 2017 as the lead host of the reality show Kicking & Screaming.

Simone’s most famous role is undoubtedly that of Cece in the popular sitcom New Girl, in which she plays the best friend of Zooey Deschanel’s lead character Jess Day. The hugely popular show began in 2011 and ran for 7 seasons ending in 2018. In 2011, Simone won a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Breakout Performance for her role in New Girl.

Simone has also appeared in nine feature films through her career thus far, including two in 2017: Band Aid and Killing Gunther. Most recently, Simone can be seen in several episodes of the 2018 ABC television series Single Parents.
