Isabella Rositano is an Australian athlete with a wide range of impressive skills. She has competed as a bobsledder and also has experience in canoeing and Australian Rules football. She also made a short appearance as a competitor on Australian Ninja Warrior in 2018.
Rositano has competed in many sporting events including her appearance in the North American Cup in 2019 where she placed ninth. She competed in canoeing events as a young woman and also played professionally for Italy in Australian rules football as a ruck rover. She was due to head to the Olympic Games as a canoeist, but her plans were derailed by the COVID epidemic. Still, she continues to train and excel in a range of sports, preparing for a bright future in sports.
Rositano is very outspoken about gender inequality in sports, and while competing in multiple sports, she’s hoping to be a role model for other women who are interested in a sporting career. She is also an ambassador for the Australian child protection agency, Braveheart, and for the Black Dog Institute, which is a non-profit that helps people deal with mental health issues.
In addition to being a sportswoman, Rositano has explored a career in rap under the name Emcee Izzy. She takes her influences from the greats, including Stormzy and Childish Gambino. She hopes to be able to release new music soon.
