A NASCAR fanatic, Jamie Little is an American pit crew reporter for NASCAR coverage on Fox. She had her start in the sporting world when she joined ESPN in 1998 at age 20 to assist in their coverage of both the Winter and Summer X Games, becoming one of the first female reporters in X Games history. She went on to establish herself as a well-known figure among the motocross and extreme sports communities for being a pit reporter on ESPN’s Motoworld programme.
Prior to joining Fox, Little spent over a decade working for ESPN/ABC as a reporter for NASCAR (2007-2014) and the IndyCar Series (2004-2014). Always keen to subvert stereotypes, she was also the first woman to cover a televised supercross and motocross event, and was the first female pit reporter to cover both the prestigious Daytona 500 and Indianapolis 500 races for network TV’s live, flag-to-flag coverage. An incredibly dominant and respected presence on the racing circuit, Little has become a female role model who has amassed tens of thousands of fans across her social media accounts.
Outside of reporting, she landed a cameo role in the Blockbuster movie Fantastic Four (2015) and Supercross (2015) starring Channing Tatum. She was also the poster girl of the popular racing video game released in 2005 for PS2 entitled “MX World Tour Featuring Jamie Little”. Displaying her versatility further, she released a book in 2013 entitled “Essential Car Care for Women”.
More recently, Little was selected as a reporter for A&E Network’s new show America’s Top Dog due to her love of animals and passion for animal rescue work. An admirably driven personality in the racing world with a tireless work ethic, Little will no doubt continue to stay true to her love of sport, while venturing out into other areas from time to time to see what else she’s capable of.
