The wonderful equestrian Jonelle Price (née Richards) is a horse rider who specialises in eventing. She is an Olympic and World Championships medalist, as well as a 3x CCI5* champion. She is married to fellow eventing rider Tim Price, and they run a farm business together in New Zealand. At the close of the 2022 season Tim and Jonelle became FEI World No.1 and No.2, making history as the first married couple in Eventing to ever do so.
Born and raised in New Zealand, Price started riding when she was eight-years-old, and by the mid-1990’s abandoned her University education to take up eventing full-time. In 2004 she took part in her first CCI5* event at Badminton, and then after competing at the World Young Horse Championships in 2011, she represented her native New Zealand at the 2012 London Olympics, taking Bronze in team eventing. In 2016 she won her first medal at CCI5* eventing, taking Bronze at Burghley, and then after taking part in the Rio 2016 Olympics, she took Bronze in team eventing at the 2016 World Young Horse Championships. In 2018 she won two CCI5* eventing Golds, and then after taking part in the delayed 2021 Tokyo Olympics, she saw two more CCi5* Bronze medals, and a further Gold in 2022, as well as taking Bronze at the World Championships in team eventing.
Price regularly connects with her legions of followers and fans through Instagram, and Facebook, posting pictures and comments about her life in the saddle. She also has an official website with her husband, Tim Price: timandjonelle.com.
