The lovely Kate Chastain is a celebrated author, philanthropist, podcaster and radio show host who is best known for her role as Chief Stewardess on Bravo’s reality TV series, Below Deck. She was a fan favourite over her six seasons on the programme, and was renowned for planning and executing lavish theme parties. In 2017, she opened up Genesis Boutique, a non-profit upscale resale store where all proceeds go to Genesis House, Inc, a Florida-based organisation which has been providing emergency and transitional housing to homeless women and children for over 40 years.

Born and raised in Sacramento City, California, Chastain began her yachting career as a third stewardess in 2007 when she took a gap year after graduating from college. She fell in love with the life and worked her way up through the ranks until she reached the position of Chief Stewardess. After having entertained royalty, celebrities and business tycoons around the world, she began to compile her stories from the sea into a book. These were published in 2016 under the title Lucky Charming, which quickly became an Amazon No.1 Best Seller in the Humour category.
