Kim Dickens is a American actress who may best be known forher roles in films such as Hollow Man, The Blind Side, and Gone Girl. She has also been in hit TVshows like Deadwood, House of Cards, and Fear the Walking Dead.
Dickens began her onscreen career in the 1995comedy film Palookaville. Just twoyears later, Dickens already had her first leading role in the KieferSutherland directed film Truth orConsequences, N.M. At the beginning of the new millennium Dickens appearedin Hollow Man for which she wasnominated for a Blockbuster Entertainment award. In 2001 she was also nominatedfor an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for her role in Things Behind The Room. In 2009 Dickensappeared in the hit sports movie TheBlind Side. She also appeared in 2011’s Footloose,2016’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for PeculiarChildren, and 2014’s Gone Girl forwhich she was nominated for two awards.
Dickens has also had success in the world oftelevision where she began in 1995 as well. Her breakout TV role came in 2004’sDeadwood for which she was nominated for a SAG award.She also appeared in the hugely popular series Lost, Friday Night Lights, Sons Of Anarchy, and House of Cards in recurring roles. In2015, Dickens began a role on the show Fearthe Walking Dead for which she was nominated for two Saturn Awards for BestActress in Television.
In 2019 Dickens is in line to be in twodifferent films. One entitled TheHighwaymen alongside Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson, and the other is afilm continuation of Deadwood forHBO.
