Los Tres Tristes Tigres, translating in English to The Three Sad Tigers, are a musical group hailing from Venezuela who initially formed in 1971. The band have performed at many festivals and concerts and have been widely celebrated.

Their debut album, titled Just again, was released in 1972 and was met with positive reviews. Following the success of their first album, they released a second album titled 3 Tristes Tigres, which received international acclaim. The band have released five works altogether, including The Greatest Hits album.

Los Tres Tristes Tigres regrouped some years later to form the band with founder, Douglas Herrera, Hector Teran (internet radio producer) and Ricardo Omana Cartaya (broadcaster, journalist and voice actor). The newly regrouped ensemble released their album titled Lose Tres Tristes Tigres y Marlene in 2001. Los Tres Tristes Tigres tour regularly with their new show and boast a huge following of 2 million subscribers to their videos on YouTube, receiving as many as 16 million viewers on various engaging videos that they circulate.
