Marvin Vettori is an Italian mixed martial artist with many fans online, he has an impressive following of 228k on Instagram. His nickname is ‘The Italian Dream’, he was born in Trento Italy in 1993. He is the oldest of three children, from a young age he was interested in martial arts and at the age of 13 started to train in kickboxing.

He finished high school and studied for a while until in 2012 he moved to London to train in MMA and after a few years moved to the USA to train at Kings MMA gym. He started to fight in the European circuit and had his first professional fight against Alessandro Grandis. In 2015 he won the ‘Venator Fighting Championship Welterweight’ title.
In 2016 Vettori made his debut in the ‘Ultimate Fighting Championship’ where he competes in the Middleweight division.

He says that his dream was always to be in the UFC. In December 2020 he was No 5 in the UFC Middleweight rankings. He trains hard 6 days a week, twice a day and was awarded ‘Performance of the Night’ against Karl Roberson and ‘Fight of the Night’ against Jack Hermansson. In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu he is ranked as a brown belt, after his last fight under his coach Fillippo Stabile. He is developing a clothing line called ‘Italian Dream A’ which is soon to launch.
