The multi-talented Max Talisman is an actor, writer, singer, and director, who is best known for his appearances in Super Dark Times, The Blacklist, and Orange Is the New Black. He is a strong advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and diversity representation in the entertainment industry.

Born and raised in Washington DC, Talisman was always interested in acting. He cut his teeth on the local stage as a teenager, before making the move to New York City. He made his TV debut in 2016 when he secured a role in the popular Netflix drama series Orange Is the New Black. He has since appeared in Search Party, and The Blacklist. He made his movie debut in Kevin Phillips’s acclaimed crime chiller Super Dark Times in 2017. He then featured in 2021’s After Masks, and following that wrote, directed and starred in the gay romcom, Things Like This.
