Canadian speedster Nicholas Latifi is a professional Formula 1 racing driver, who competes for Williams Racing. He has also served as a test and reserve driver for Renault, Force India, and Williams.
Born and raised in Canada, Latifi started his motorsport journey at the age of 13, racing go-karts locally. He quickly realised his talent for wheel-to-wheel racing, and soon his career moved into top gear as he graduated through the various classes, competing in Formula 3, Formula Renault 3.5 and FIA Formula 2 championships around the world. He continued to impress as a test and development diver with the Renault and Force India F1 teams, before moving to Williams in 2019 as reserve driver, and made his F1 debut at the 2020 Austrian Grand Prix.
