When Renee Michelle attended a sporting event one day, she never expected to be approached by former WWE legend, Duane Gill—much less, have him encourage her to go into wrestling, herself. Now, as a multi-time Women’s Champion and one of the most sought-after American female wrestlers, it seemed she was destined for the sport.
Michelle debuted on the independent circuit back in 2013, and the following year, she proved herself by becoming the MCW Women’s Champion, winning the tournament. She went on to reclaim her title two more times. In addition to her success with Maryland Championship Wrestling, fans also recognize her for her work with the East Coast Wrestling Association—where she nabbed another championship title.
Some of Michelle’s other notable matches include her time as FEW Flares Champion, NWL Ladies Champion, and WXW Diamond Division Champion; for the latter, it was her debut in the WXW, yet she still beat out three other women to claim the title. Otherwise, she’s made appearances in promotions like SHINE Wrestling and the WWE.
Outside of wrestling, Michelle’s built her career as a model and social media influencer. Currently, she has nearly 120K followers on Instagram alone, and tens of thousands on Twitter, where she often posts match information, modeling photos, product endorsements, or her clothing line in collaboration with Big Cartel.
