What follows is a brutal, twisted examination of intimate relationships and social order that chronicles the spiral into cannibalistic lunacy of a group of young females. While the crew maneuvers through their perilous predicament, viewers are concurrently transported to the present day, when their adult selves—played by Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey, and Tawny Cypress—attempt to untangle the subsequent trauma.
