The formidable sportsman Tai “Bam Bam” Tuivasa is a professional mixed martial artist, who currently competes in the heavyweight Division of the UFC. He was also a one time AFC Heavyweight Champion.

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Tuivasa started playing rugby in his youth and was signed by the professional rugby league club Sydney Roosters in 2010 at the age of 19. However, after developing a gambling addiction he had to give up his career. He turned things around and took up mixed martial arts, and by 2012 had made his MMA professional debut. Two years later he was signed by the Ultimate Fighting Championships, and quickly established himself as a formidable foe on the circuit, going on to win numerous Performance of the Night awards.
