Tanner Thomason is a producer, writer, and actor. As a producer, he is known for “The Evil Tenant,” “Hollywood Today Live,” “Hollywood Today,” and “2020.”As an actor, he has appeared in several projects including “Darkness Falls,” “Faith Based,” “The Politician,” “The Newest Testament,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” “Super Sportlets,” and “Night of Redemption.” Thomason focuses on the conception and execution of short-form material that is both entertaining and educational.

Thomason worked with CBS Interactive for many years, creating, programming, and hosting content for ETLive, CBSi’s streaming service showcasing the Entertainment Tonight brand. He developed, produced, and hosted ‘Hollywood Today Live’ from 2012 to 2017, a show that began digitally with about 300 episodes before making the leap to national syndication on FOX, where he produced and hosted nearly 500 live hour-long episodes covering daily pop culture events, celebrity interviews, and various field shoots and lifestyle packages.

He has created and hosted material for a variety of venues, including Funny or Die, Mashable, Time.com, NPR, Dateline, Despierta America, and the BBC. He’s executive produced two feature films, one of which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and the other is yet to be released but stars Jason Alexander from “Seinfeld” and Lance Reddick from the Jon Wick franchise. Currently, he works as a freelance producer for E!’s “Daily Pop,” a live hourlong entertainment news and pop culture panel show.
